Course Requirements

The following are the course requirements to complete this course:

- Complete all 4 online micro-sessions (25–30 minutes each).

    - Engage in role-plays, case studies, and reflection activities.

      - Submit responses to handout prompts for supervisor feedback.

        - Pass the final quiz with at least 70% total marks.

          - Supervisor evaluates professional conduct using a 10-item rubric.


          Course Description

          This 2-hour online training introduces hospitality staff to professional conduct in customer service. It emphasizes first impressions, communication etiquette, ethics, and consistent behavior to enhance guest satisfaction. Delivered in four 25–30 minute micro-sessions for individuals, one-on-one coaching, and micro-groups (2–4 learners).

          Course Outcomes

          Upon completion of this training, participants should be able to:

          • Recognize the importance of maintaining professional appearance and behavior.
          • Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests during role-plays.
          • Demonstrate professional, ethical responses and conduct during role-plays.
          • Recognize  how communication impacts professionalism.
          • Adopt a respectful and guest-centered approach.
          • Commit to punctuality, honesty, and consistency.
          • Show integrity in various workplace interactions.
