Course Requirements

Participation & Format

  • Complete all 6 online micro-sessions (35–40 minutes each).
  • Participate in role-plays, reflection exercises, and adaptability drills.
  • Submit written reflections or responses for supervisor evaluation.
  • Complete Pre-test and Post-test evaluations


Assessment

  • Pass the Post-test with at least 70%.

  • Achieve a Pass mark in role-play performance using a 9-scale adaptability rubric.

Course Description

This 4-hour online training develops deeper flexibility and adaptability skills for hospitality staff. It emphasizes proactive responses to challenges, communication techniques, role-plays, and practical case studies. Delivered in six 35–40 minute micro-sessions for individuals, one-on-one supervisor coaching, and micro-groups (2–4 learners).

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Adapt service strategies to meet diverse and changing guest needs across various situations.
  2. Communicate effectively and professionally during service challenges to maintain guest satisfaction.
  3. Anticipate and prepare for unexpected operational changes using proactive planning techniques.
  4. Apply practical, real-time solutions to resolve unforeseen issues efficiently.
  5. Demonstrate a positive and composed attitude when responding to change or pressure.
  6. Commit to continuous improvement by reflecting on personal adaptability and identifying areas for growth.
